Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using Kash.ai ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms form a binding contract between you and Kash.ai.

2. What Kash.ai does

Kash.ai is a personal finance tool that connects to your bank accounts via Plaid to identify fees, generate spending insights, and help you dispute unfair charges. Free plan users have read-only access. Pro plan users may optionally enable automatic fund transfers to prevent overdraft fees.

Kash.ai does not provide financial advice, banking services, credit services, or investment advice. Nothing in the Service should be construed as professional financial, legal, or tax advice.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of the United States to use Kash.ai. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.

4. Your account

  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
  • You must notify us immediately at hello@kashlabsai.com if you suspect unauthorized access

5. Bank account connections

Connecting your bank via Plaid grants Kash.ai read-only access by default. Free plan users have read-only access at all times. Pro plan users may optionally enable automatic transfers to prevent overdraft fees — this requires your explicit consent and can be disabled at any time from dashboard Settings. Your money moves only when you say so.

By connecting your bank, you also agree to Plaid's End User Privacy Policy.

6. Subscription and billing

Kash.ai offers a free tier and a Pro tier. The Pro tier is billed monthly. Prices are displayed on the upgrade screen within the app.

  • Subscriptions auto-renew each billing period until cancelled
  • You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period
  • We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to your registered email

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or extract data from the Service
  • Share your account with other people
  • Use automated tools to access the Service at a rate that impairs its operation
  • Impersonate any person or entity

8. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT FEE DETECTION WILL BE COMPLETE OR ACCURATE.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, KASH.AI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRIOR TO THE CLAIM, OR $50, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Kash.ai and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from Settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
